Peter Vrijsen joined Cargill in May 2007 as Chief Human Resources Officer, leading Cargill’s global human resources strategies.
Vrijsen’s early career positions were in global human resources management roles including General Electric Plastics in Europe and the USA, and for Royal Packaging Van Leer Industries and SHV Holdings N.V., both in The Netherlands.
Most recently, Vrijsen was a member of the Executive Board of Directors for Metro Cash & Carry Beteiligungs GMBH & Co KG in Dusseldorf, Germany, and then became the Chief People Officer of InBev S.A. in Belgium.
Vrijsen received a master of organization degree from the Universiteit van Tilburg, Tilburg, Netherlands.
